Mina’s Kitchen

Let’s all support Carmina Mercado of Mina’s Kitchen!

How it all started

My small kitchen business started last May 21, 2020. But my passion for cooking started since grade 6.. and since I love seafoods, like most of the seafoods cuisine, I started building my menu with buttered shrimps, then as weeks passes by, I added crabs, oysters, mussels, thermidore and other seafood cuisine. Take note – all of the foods that I’m serving was all from Youtube. I’m not a graduate of any culinary course, all of this was build from passion and dreams.

Inspiration

My love for seafood plus the island life. Maybe 5 years from now, I will move to island life and start my own resto that will cater all sea foods that I love.

What are you most proud of in your place, food or service?

What I’m most proud of in terms of service is I use the Angkas drivers around me to deliver the foods to my clients that is a big help to them specially now during pandemic. In terms of the foods, I can honestly say that my Baked Oysters is a weekly superstar in a very minimal price.

What Pulutan or dishes would you recommend to first-timers and why?

BAKED OYSTERS. I love oysters. So much. That when I tried it in Makati, I taste every bit of it so I will know the ingredients right in my mouth.

How about the drinks? 😁 What would you recommend to first-timers and why?

KWATRO KANTOS. Nothing can beat Gin!!!
