Wag Ako Bes: Commonly Broken New Year’s Resolutions

Pinangakuan ka na nga, gusto mo pa tupadin???

Here we go again. Its that time of the year when we muster all our efforts of accomplishing our resolution list. Just like old “Trapo” politicians, we find ourselves lying again to ourselves and yet most of us, still take time to set their goals for the coming year.

We have here our list of commonly broken resolutions, parang sirang plaka na paulit-ulit na nililista. We think its much easier to just photocopy the damn thing and get it over with, but alas, this year might be a lucky one for some of us who can finally check out at least one of these below.

1. Get Fit or Lose Weight – Great idea we have there… after a food binge..

2. Quit Smoking – Really planning to do this, but Im not a quiter…

3. Eat Healthier and Diet – Pano kaya yun, started the year with the buffet.

4. Learn Something New – Define new? rather define having zero time…

5. Spend More Time with Family – Awwww, so cute… almost didn’t happen too…

6. Save Money, Pay-off Debt – Aasa ka pa ba Bes? May sale sa… Di ba?

7. Minimize Stress – Easier said than done, now this is really stressing…

8. Travel More – refer to #6 then till me where can we go without using money

9. Drink Less -Hahahaha.. Most of us were drunk when we wrote this…

10. Sleep/ Rest More – Duly noted by our Boss, stash between maybe and never…

11. Meditate More – Ulol, di mo nga marinig sarili mong mag-isip.. hahaha
