How it all started

It started during this time of pandemic. We need to earn while staying at home because we both forced to stop working. The business idea was on my mind even before the pandemic but I did not entertain it because we are both working. My wife and I love beer and we love to eat while drinking. So we decided to sell ice cold beer with pulutan. The name came from my wife’s nickname which is JONES. We find it catchy and cute so we use it as our brand name.

Inspiration

My wife inspires me to build this small business. She pushes me to make my dreams turn to reality. My passion in cooking became our bread and butter this time of uncertainties.

What’s your favorite thing about your establishment?

Our food is cooked with fresh and quality ingredients.

What Pulutan or dishes would you recommend to first-timers and why?

I would recommend our crispy pata, crispy ulo and suso with laing. Our crispy pata is crispy but juicy inside. The taste of our suso with laing is authentic because my wife is a bicolana. She knows the taste of an authentic bicol dish.

How about the drinks? 😁 What would you recommend to first-timers and why?

We sell ice cold beer. We offer free delivery within marikina for a minimum order of one case.
