Cendong’s: Our Home of the Last One Case… or Two

What is that buzzkill that ends the night faster than a police raid? “SIR, LAST ORDER NA PO!”

Surveying the willing victims with me asking how many bottles should we order last but really not counting at all,  The so-called “anting-anting” against the question is this line. “Boss, isang case, padagdagan na din ng yelo.”

Why are we so clingy to a place such as Cendong’s, located along Bayani Road in Fort Bonifacio,Taguig City? Well, the short answer is its chill, homey vibe makes you lower your alpha male complexities to relax the night away.

What better way to chillax than with cheap good food and cheap cold beers. A taste of their pork sisig would bring out memories of past inumans. The pork barbeque, tender as a lover’s embrace. If you’re into the provincial flair, go for their Inihaw na Panga ng Tuna and their killer Kilawin na Kambing or something unusual like the Sinuglaw (grilled pork sa kilawin na Tanigue. Saan ka pa, tsong?!” Did I say cheap? Prices are so reasonable, mapaparami ka ng order. The attentive service doesn’t fail either. You can come in your office attire or your best dressed-down tsinelas. Even with your Airsoft gear, you would always be at home given that this place is a favorite spot for our proud armed forces. That’s top-notch security for you!!! The security guards are also ex-military and they are as friendly as they come and will assist you while you park in their free parking.

No, this is not a paid write-up at wala ni isang bote ng beer na libre galing sa kanila. This is just one hole-in-the-wall inuman and pulutan places that won’t fail you. What are yours, Bradley? Share in the comments section below.
