T-bone Steak for P80 pesos, nuff said!!!
Steak has been one of the fanciest food around and sometimes it would cost you a leg and arm to enjoy. Not every Filipino can afford such a trade off, lalo na kung basic daily salary mo ka presyo na ng isang order ng steak sa ibang restaurants. Pati alak allowance mo, dihado.
Luckily, three enterprising, long-time friends step up to the mission of making this food for the rich, reachable for the common folk. Roj Granda, Michael Gamboa and Justin Santos started PYLING’S last year with the aim of offering good food at affordable prices. In honor of Chef Roj’s father, the resto was named Pyling’s with a relaxed vibe and a homey al fresco dining experience. The restaurant’s best seller’s are the T-bone Steak for P80, which you can upgrade to T-bone Steak Set which comes with mash potatoes and buttered mixed vegetables; The Lechon Kawali for P75 is a must try, crispy and savory with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg. The Pepper Steak for P78 is gloriously seasoned, the meat tender while the sauce compliments the dish with heat and zing of the pepper, evident. Their menu offer other food and pulutan favorites such as the Daing na Bangus and Tinapang Bangus para dun sa mga hinde feel mag-steak. A meal for two will set you back around P200 to P300 pesos, personally, I rocked this show with all orders of their best sellers for P233 with cold water (no softdrink, I’m watching my weight, people!)
The Boys of Pyling’s are aiming to open new and bigger branches to accommodate and reach more people with their gospel of good steak at affordable prices. For now, you may visit them at 145 Tropical Ave. BF International, Las Pinas City, just beside the GM1 Autoserve Carwash and Auto Detailing. A better idea is to have your four wheeled babies get some TLC while you treat yourself to some awesome steak. Cheers!
