We found this video after graving for shawarma and it got us curious whats the differences of the two. If we base it in the video, the middle eastern kind of shawarma packs in their meat tight, in thin layers of meat while the Mexican variety stack their pits loose and chunky. The bread with the latin version is big and thin while the Arab version is a bit small and thick. With the sauces, the Arab type has two the garlic mayo sauce and the hot and spicy while the latin type has sour cream and salsa verde. This just made us more hungry than ever.
