Rib-diculously Delicious: Get that Spiced Lechon Rib at Ribchon

It felt like destiny, it tasted like forever but it was more of a fling, a short fleeting moment when time and space would stand still… with your lips kissing their ribs.

Here’s why we need to make a visit to Ribchon not only a must do in Tagaytay but like a new religion. Bow your heads, lads, this would somewhat come out like a prayer. Close your eyes.

They delivered on a promise, a perfect harmony of flavors, taste and texture of two of the best way to appreciate a pork dish, lechon and rib. If this is not a cut above other restos, at least, they are far more better than our taste of political leaders.

The Star with back up, each order of their half rack or full slab of ribs comes with your choice of rice, soup and salad. Making it a full course meal, if you even have space to have dessert, go do it.

Good size per serving, the balance of price and quality that is a hard spot to nail for a new concept, but don’t you worry, Ribchon is generous, surely you wanted more, but for the price its just the right spot.

They have a LOT to offer, naming the resto after one dish seemed a bit deceiving given that they offer a wide variety of dishes from seafood, to soup and other pulutan-convertible edibles.

They will give you the flavors, and yet, will not over power your senses specially your taste. From their dishes, to their “sawsawans” to their rice, each has a contradiction of flavors that will captivate your cravings without making you satiable.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so important that Ribchon has opted to offer their breakfast meals all day round and the choices are nothing short of a masterpiece.

The place has FAMILY in mind, they have big comfortable seats, long tables and al fresco dining aimed to cater to the needs of a family. Proving once again that the food is not the only star attraction of the place but the gathering of hearts that bonds and eats like a family.

When there are hordes of family visiting, they should be ample parking and the place has it with cordial and helpful parking attendant that would guide you to that free parking spot and will also look after your ride.

Till our next visit, Ribchon. Its going to be a long relationship between us. Cheers!
