Ever wonder how natives cook their food? Without the use of modern technology, basic kalan or gas stove or kitchen wares? Our native brothers and sisters, the aetas, for example, have mastered the skills on how to make fire without the use of matches or lighter. Even before kitchen wares were invented, people were able to cook using things from nature. One common example is bamboo.
As we all know, bamboo truly has many uses. Whether be it for making furniture, houses or kaldero for cooking rice or ulam.
The bamboo cooking of the aetas has also inspired this chef to take it to his restaurant.
