Ultra Crispy Roasted Ham Hock

Trust us the long wait was definitely WORTH IT…

Pork Hock is one of the best part for roasting and grilling. The good balance of pork fat and meat is highlighted by the bone morrow when it is slow cooked for 100 minutes. As the spices embrace the pork hock, its natural savoriness envelopes the meat with those flavors and lock it in. Pricking the skin and the brushing of honey vinegar sets the skin to crisp up while roasting it adds a smoky flavor without drying the meat inside, making it juicier and tender, enough to forget that this dish took almost 3 hours to prepare. Cheers!
